Most PC's are the same. The front cover is removable. Most have taps and some swing once the tabs are released. See photos. The dvd in almost all cases removes from the front. Start the removal by either removing the screws or releasing the tab Slid the DVD out s little to facilitate the cable removal. Hope this helps?

Start up disk for what... eg: burning software or OS?

Please explain what this term means: "copying audio tracks from computer memory". In normal operating you don't copy audio tracks you burn them to the disk using a compatible burning software.

You can try going to manufacturer's website to see if there is a firmware update. You can try uninstalling a reinstalling the application/drivers for the device as well.

Error Code 68

System error code 68 means "The name limit for the local computer network adapter card was exceeded." This error code may also display as "ERROR_TOO_MANY_NAMES" or as the value 0x44. I don't know what this has to do with using lightscribe and burning the CD's but perhaps your running this over a network? if your speaking of burning speed DVD burning slower is always better for better quality i dont go about 8x on dvd burn
cd high speed is fine

make sure that the dvd burner is getting enough power test all leads that are attached to the dvd burner including electical extensions and make sure they have a secure connection or just replace them there might be bad/faulty or your drivers may have been corrupted or you might have a virus run your antivrus program you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd burner then plug them back in this should activate the found new hardware wizard or you might have to uninstall then reinstall your DVD/CD or uninstall the driver then reinstall for this device click start control panel administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down cd dvd rom drives right click you can you can update driver,roll back driver,or select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver or uninstall then reinstall Click start control panel administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down cd-dvd rom drives you might see a yellow question mark ? right click you will have options to update driver,roll back driver,or select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver or uninstall then reinstall if this does not fix the problem it might be a registry problem if you cant see your disk drive in windows explorer Close all open programs

This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.

If you can not go into " Advance setup" then you can't update your writer firmware through controller. The only thing you can do is connect you writer to a PC, update writer one by one and put all back to tower.

If all your writers are same brand ( NEC ) , but different model, this solution won't take care you problem. In this case, two way you can do:

1, Find out what the model that you have most and buy that one from any seller, remember " Update F/W to same version.

2. Get a ACARD controller, ACARD controller can mix brand, model and firmware in one system.

Hi I have this problem with my systor 0-3 target duplicator, the one tray works fine, the middle one keeps making burn errors and the bottom one won't burn at all I can't seem to find a solution

I would make sure all the cables are secure and possibly reconnect them to ensure a good fit. Do all the drives show up in the BIOS or Disk Manager? If not and they are all connected, it may be defective. Also check power connections, does the light on the drive work at all?
