There is one Philips head screw near the top of the handle and there are four more behind the rubber on the handle grip. The rubber on the handle grip is attached to a curved plastic plate that has four clips that hold it to the handle, you have to pop the plate with the handgrip rubber off the handle to access the four screws.
Does not start

Could be several reasons, like the coils is broke somewhere.inside or the temp control is broken. when you turn it on can you see the coils turn red>then it is heating up if not there is a disconnect somewhere. Remember to never point a dyer at your eyes and turn it on, look at it through a mirror. hope this helps.
How can i find a Charger for a vscl900 Trimmer
If you haven't lost the original and you think it burned out check it with a volt meter you may find the trimmer is no longer taking a charge. If there is no voltage coming out of the charger then I would try Ebay or the manufacture. Now the next thing you can do is make one out of an old cellphone charger or other a/c to d/c adapter. (If I have 10 of them hanging around the house I have 50 and have done this many times) Just check the voltage output including milliamps get as close as possible to the specs. (specs are always listed somewhere on all adapters). Cut off the the plugs from both chargers about a foot away from the plug. Strip all 4 wires on the old trimmer adapter it should tell you which which is the plus side and what is the negative of the plug. just twist the wires together and with a volt meter it should give you a positive reading. Now you not only recycled but you were only out a little time and no money.
