Velbon Victory 451 camera tripod. Need manual please.
Question edited for full 'make model (what it is)'.
Question moved from Car Audio to a better category.
My first tripod was a Velbon. When I started wedding photography, I bought a bigger one for a Bronica medium format camera.
They don't really come with manuals, as they are pretty self explanatory. You can tighten them all down and undo one knob and see what moves. Tighten that and see what happens with the next knob.
Basically though;
You have 3 knobs or clips to extend the legs for height.
You have one knob to raise and lower the central pole. Often this can be used as a monopod.
Then you have the 'Fluid Head', with three adjustments;
1. Pan, this allows the head to move left and right.
2. Tilt, this is normally controlled by turning the stalk that you hold.
3. A knob to turn the camera base Landscape or Portrait.
4. Some have drag/friction knobs and various locks.
There are empty promises of manuals in this link, but there is a video on the Velbon Fluid Head.

How to remove stock pan head on velbon el carmagne 530 so I can replace it with a ball head?
I presume this is a tripod, although you have not stated. On good quality tripods, the head attached to the centre column with a screw thread, either 1/4" or 3/8". Grasp the centre column firmly, and rotate the existing head anti-clockwise, first checking to ensure there are no grub screws restricting its movement. When you have removed it, attach the replacement.

I'm looking for the Velbon Videomate 601 instruction manual for my tripod.
Is a manual or instruction leaflet really necessary ? Tripods are actually amazingly simple to use. You spread the three legs (three legs - 'tri'-pod) and place them firmly on level ground. Then you attach the camera, camcorder, spotting scope or whatever to the top, and use the equipment as desired.

Which quick release plate do I need for the velbon UP-400
Unless you have added an adjustable head to this monopod (in which case you need the QR plate appropriate to that head), it appears to feature only a standard 1/4" thread screw, which has in and of itself no QR capabilities.
Please pass this info to your friend Anonymous.

Does the Velbon cx-300 fit most camera's
If your camera has a 1/4" thread socket on the baseplate, it can be fitted to the pan and tilt head in the illustration of this tripod provided by a Google search. The manual should give you definitive information if you are still not sure.

Is there a "lock" position on on the 3 leg spread of this tripod?
-Providing that the image shown is the tripod you own..., the top leg lock levers on each leg is designed to lock the spreader angle of each leg.
-If this is not holding the leg at the correct angle...., either you are putting more weight on it than it was designed to hold..., or the 'cam' on the various locks has worn.
-A 'stop gap' fix for this problem is to insert a very thin wedge between the lever & the leg tube..., thus providing a greater amount of pressure on the tube, (this would need to be done every time the tripod is set up).
-Replacement parts are not available for this tripod & they were not designed to be user serviceable ...., sorry!!!
