Where can I get a manual for Vector vec012 jump start system?
hello
u will find a lot of wiring diagrams, codes etc and circuit diagrams help books and stuff like this at online places.. like reliable-store
for free
the girl in the chat box can help u instantly... im a frequent buyer there since Im a mechanic so take help from there
I have a Power on
Hi there's this website something like reliable-store and it is very amazing for manual for repairing servicing anything
someone on fixya recommended it to me and I thank him even today
They have full manuals free
I have a Vector HID
Just a guess here. Sounds like the battery might have been left uncharged for a while and could need to be replaced. Lead acid batteries need to be kept fully charged as much as possible to prevent them failing (the chemistry begins to change quite quickly and irreversibly if the voltage gets too low, and they will then not recharge).
Top-up charge every couple of months if not being used to prevent self discharge from causing this. Always recharge promptly after use.
If you have a voltmeter, check the battery voltage, should be above about 12.4 v to prevent deterioration. Voltage should only drop slightly when light is switched on if the battery is good. Charger might be self protecting if battery is faulty.
These batteries are reasonably priced and very common, be careful to connect the right way round if you are replacing or you can destroy the electronics!
You might be able to connect a new battery (observe polarity!) to test it works before you buy. Check that the batt voltage rises slightly when the charger is connected to make sure the problem is not caused by a charging fault.
What does F01 code mean
F01- Internal Shorted Cell Battery-(Cannot Be Charged) or
Excessive Load On Battery While Charging (Check Load)
*If this shows it is recommended to take your battery to a certified auto center for evaluation.
This Info Came Directly From The Manual.

I live in Brunswick Ga, can you tell me where to find a replacement ac charging plug and the cigarette lighter plug for my Vector Jump Start 450 amps,(VEC012c).Thank You Mr. Prior
My 12 V 400 watt
My guess would be the power oscillator mosfets. Was the 25V AC or DC? If there is no AC and the output is DC then the chances are very good that one of the switching mosfets that produce the AC is shot. These are usually set up in an H-Bridge configuration and both the neutral and hot leads alternately get switched between high voltage DC and ground, producing a modified sine wave output. For the cost of one of these inverters, it might be cheaper to just buy a new one and recycle the old.
Need power cord where to
I cannot see the manufacturers name. If you get me the manufacturers name and the model number then I'll be able to find out where you can get the power cord.
I have a vector 750
If you have a manual for the inverter check and see ifDin there are diagnostic codes with the LEDs.

I looked through this and your description of the problem was not listed in the document, but you may be able to contact the manufacturer and get more information. Basically this is a DC to AC power conversion device, which takes the 12v DC input and converts it to 115V AC
and in does so at a maximum peak power of 750 watts at 115V AC. since your charge controller went bad, it is possible in the process it overloaded this device or the battery system put out too low of a voltage when the charge controller died and low voltage input is not something this unit was able to tolerate. Check your remaining components to be sure they are good, then look at the inverter's board and transformer to see if anything was damaged. I would want to verify the charge controller was good and the batteries in good condition - and perhaps consider replacing this inverter with one more suited to your actual load wattage requirements.
