If a boxfan is on the floor and running and setting in front of a refrigerator will it make the fridge stopworking? I heard this when I was a kid and wondered if it was true

It shouldn't affect the runing of the frig but it might help the circulation of the air and help it run more efficient

My TSSU 60 16 is leaking water insie the cabinet.

Call me, I'm not expensive ;). Seriously, the drain tubes are clogged. Unplug unit and get a flexible piece of electrical wire. The drain tubes terminate near the compressor and usually drain in pan under there. The most common clogs are at the elbow and tee connectors. Good luck! :)

Will not stop running

Are you referring to the compressor not shutting off down below or the evaporator fan inside the cooling area not shutting off? Evaporator fan always runs the compressor is controlled by the thermostat you could have a bad thermostat if the compressor never shuts off.

Gdm 45 with new thermostat goes down to 28 degrees and compresor does not shut down

If the new thermostat sensor is secure and where it belongs, it has the wrong charge in the system. That cooler takes a critical charge. The factory charge is in ounces if refrigerant. The system needs to be evacuated completely with a vacuum pump and recharged with an accurate scale that weighs in ounces. That will solve your problem. A refrigeration tech carries the necessary tools that an hvac tech doesn't. Hope this helps and good luck.

Our True TUC 93 has a new compressor and new thermostat. Compressor runs continuously, even when thermostat is in the clicked OFF position. What's next?

Dirt is an issue for any type of motor and refrigerators are no exception. No matter how well your air filters are working, the fan will eventually pull in dust that can cake on top of the condenser coils. Once this happens it begins to impede the performance of the coils, much as a dirty spark plug in an engine will cause things to sputter. As a result, your condenser will have to work harder to keep things cool, thus causing the fan to run continually. You can clean condenser coils manually by simply wiping the dirt/grime off while the refrigerator is unplugged for safety.
