True T23 seems to be running every 3 to 5 min. Its been doing that since we bought it. Wondering why.

The first thing that needs to be determined is if the internal box temp is rising above the desired temp and causing the compressor to come on. If so, you may have an issue with the box insulation or an air leak somewhere on the box. Start there and we can progress in the troubleshooting steps.

Gdm49f everything is working except both blower fans does not get cold. Compressor is wet all over

In most commercial freezers, in the cooling coil (evaporator), there is a "thermo disc" that senses the temp of the coil and prevents the fans from coming on until the coil get cold. Generally, about 26 or so degrees. Either the coil is not getting cold enough or the therm disc is not functioning. This prevents warm air from being circulated.

Then what...? You don't like the way it works...? or unusual...? Old fridge always noisy then brand news one. As long as it's cold the way it should be then it's okay. Good luck Mai

Hi I have a true gdm35 the defrost / fan works but the fridge isn’t getting cold it did for about 1 minute and then stopped. Any info would be appreciated

probably a bad thermostat or set at the wrong setting. If you have a digital thermostat the steps are a bit much to type out. If you have the older and more common mechanical thermostat it should be set about midway. The knob is typically marked from 0 - 9 and should be set on 4 - 5. get back to me if you have the digital control.

How to replace door spring T-49

This is what I came up with. Just pass the screw through the nail puller in a flat bar. Use a block of wood to protect the door, and press down on the other end. A lot easier than anything else I've tried.

True prep table works good for weeks, then stops working. I unplug for a couple of days and plug back in and it starts working. It has done this numerous times. Why?

Sounds like the evaporator coil is icing up. Once the coil ices up no air can flow through and you essentially have a very large ice chest. The thermostats on these coolers are actually sensing coil temperature not air temperature. I would want to check that it is set properly and that it turns the compressor off and on. If you have an old mechanical thermostat with a knob with settings from 0-9 it should be set on 4-5. Anything higher and it WILL ice up occasionally.

The suction side of system is negative pressure.. how do i fix this

Either low on refrigerant or a blocked capillary tube. Since you have attached a gauge I assume you have tried adding refrigerant so the next step is to replace the capillary tube and drier and weigh in the charge.

No - the thermostat works off of coil temperature not air temperature and if the fans cycle off the temperature will never even out.

My condenser fan motor has four wires

I am not 100% sure on your model but some of these units that went into large chain stores had reversible condenser fan motors that would reverse occasionally to blow the dirt accumulated back out of the condenser.

Not making defrosting

A T-49F is a freezer - a T-49 is a cooler and has no defrost timer or heater. If it's freezing up the thermostat needs to be checked. The coolers use a thermostat to check inside coil temperature and typically cycle off when the coil reaches somewhere around 15f and then cycles back on when the coil reaches around 40f. For this reason the box temperature when empty will make wild swings

True Beverage Cooler making random rattling sound.

Sounds like it may be cycling off hard due to high discharge pressure. Make sure the condenser under the unit is clean and the fan motor is running. It shouldn't be running 60f. A lot of people make the mistake of checking temperature with an empty unit. Put a couple of gallons of water in the unit so that the temperature evens out. These units do NOT run based on air temperature but rather on inside coil temperature. That will swing wildly with no load in the unit.

I replaced the thermostat 4 times in 6 months what's hapend? from a refrigirator true ts 49

Are the thermostats failing closed or open? If they are failing closed is there a start capacitor on the compressor? If there is a start capacitor make sure it has a bleed resistor.
