Hi Robert: Sounds like a matter of removing the old lines and installing new ones. Work safe! Drain fuel from tank first.

take carburetor off and clean real good maybe a kit while your in there. they are cheap. should solve the fuel issue.

There is probably no adjustment. They don't want ordinary guys work'n on their own stuff any more...Lol. If you are having carb. problems try this:

Check the fuel lines for cracks/breaks. If they are o.k., then:

You willneed to disassemble the carburetor and spray with carb.cleaner.Makesure the small screen is free of debris. (Should be able to see daylightthrough it.)

Use a Den Tek Brush, (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152),to clean the small portals in carb. These portals can become blocked. Reassemble and start.

If the carb. parts are more than 4 years old, you may have to replace them.

If you need further assistance on:
1. Fuel line replacement or
2. Carburetor kit replacement

Take note of how the belt is routed.! you will need to follow the same route with the new belt. You may need to remove the Blade guard (item 40) if the belt doesn't fit over the head of the guard. There may also be a sprung idle tension pulley, which will take up the slack in the belt once replaced. Looks pretty straight forward.

sounds like bad gas or carburetor issue. drain all gas out and put in fresh. if it has a bowl on the bottom of the carburetor take it off and see if there is water or dirt in there. if it looks really bad you may have to take the carburetor of and clean it. this should make it run like new.

remove the recoil housing and wrap the chord round the spool more to take up the slack

if it does nothing, check to be sure you have 120v power out of cord push starter button do you hear a click/ if not micro swtch is bad if you do than starter motor is bad

Here's some silly questions: Did you put the belt on the correct side of the Tensioner? Is it the correct sized belt? Is there a spring on the cable for the auger that can be lifted up the cable to expose the adjustment nut ?
