Just go to settings in the music player. In the MTP option, change it to USB... Problem solved

I had the same problem with Windows 10. Go to manufacture on your computer for SD card and reinstall the drivers..it should work fine..remember whenever dealing with Windows you may have to reinstall drivers...

You might try the drive on another computer to see what result you get. If the same, I would try a repair operation on the HD to see if that helps the situation. Right-click the drive, click Properties, Tools, and run a repair. I don't know if you'll get that menu option.If not, I would next try Explore, This PC, Computer (at the top of the window), Manage, Disk Management and see if the drive is seen there, and whether you're offered a repair option.

hi there. this is what i have just found on the internet it might help you out but not sure. After plugging in the device. Go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the USB drive and restart your system. Hi Aking, let's start at the begining, you'r usb stick has been infected and you formatted it. Did it ever work with the player? Assuming it had. Often this sort of stuff happens when file format is incompatible with the device. New operating system of a PC used to reformat might cause it. If you could refer to the manual of the player and check which usb formats it supports then move the data off the usb stick and reformat it according to the specification, you should be able to put the data back on and it should work. If above didn't help time to blame either of the pieces of hardware: usb stick or usb port on the player.

did you you partition it correctly

So you know the little errors you get when not removing your drive safely? That is most likely the problem. Removing them non-safely can damage them and cause data lost. You may need to get a new drive.

Install 1 module into the system, let it boot up so that you can go to crucial.com and make sure you have the correct RAM for the system. Crucial has a scanner you can download to check the system. It's free!

Do not use any more and get some data recovery freeware.

Download and install free software called RECUVA. It can search the entire external hard drive. This will take some time to complete. Then you'll see a list of files which have been found. Please recover/save the files to a different hard drive.

i would probably try formatting the usb to ntfs as the old default fat32 format has issues with larger files, if that still doesn't work the usb is probably faulty and needs replacing. hope that helps, don't forget to mark this answer if it helps

if you have a bootable drive / CD, use it to access automatic repair. it may be because of a corrupted boot file, preventing it from booting.
