Either you can download a mp3 song from internet to your computer and transfer it to your mobile using a data cable to your mobile memory card.
OR
If you have internet facility in your mobile go to the mp3 site from your mobile and download the mp3 song directly to your mobiles memory card.

i would probably try formatting the usb to ntfs as the old default fat32 format has issues with larger files, if that still doesn't work the usb is probably faulty and needs replacing. hope that helps, don't forget to mark this answer if it helps

I had the same problem with Windows 10. Go to manufacture on your computer for SD card and reinstall the drivers..it should work fine..remember whenever dealing with Windows you may have to reinstall drivers...

hi there. this is what i have just found on the internet it might help you out but not sure. After plugging in the device. Go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the USB drive and restart your system. Try connecting the device again, I think this should solve the problem. for windows xp first you need to go to Device Manager by double-clicking on the System icon in Control Panel, choosing the Hardware tab, and clicking Device Manager. go to divice manager usb hub controler it will be at last of the list then right click on usb hub controler open it go to usb root hub right click & go to properties then go to device and click ok do it 4 to 5 time it will work 100% i have tried it and it worked Best of luck :) hi do one thing go to my computer right device manager ther u to o universal serial bus right click on tht option go to update driver select yes this time only give automatic k . before doing this step plz insert mother board driver cd after tht u do all this procedure thn c ur pendriv vl be dedected k if none of the above works try this link out. have a 2gb transcend pen drive.till now it was working properly but now wen i try it says insert an drive into I.the light is glowing and it is getting detected.But i am not able to read the data.anyone can please help me.

Hi Aking, let's start at the begining, you'r usb stick has been infected and you formatted it. Did it ever work with the player? Assuming it had. Often this sort of stuff happens when file format is incompatible with the device. New operating system of a PC used to reformat might cause it. If you could refer to the manual of the player and check which usb formats it supports then move the data off the usb stick and reformat it according to the specification, you should be able to put the data back on and it should work. If above didn't help time to blame either of the pieces of hardware: usb stick or usb port on the player.

Put it also in another computer system to check it it is working. If the memory size is 64GB, you might need ex-fat formatting. This filesystem option must be available on your system's OS.

Don't be panic. you can try some data recovery software. Write Protection on any portable USB Device can be applied by the physical lock provided on the card adjuster or some times provided on the pen drives, so make sure to make your drive not write protected by moving the lock in right direction.

But even after moving the physical lock for write protection the problem can happen due to some virus action. This happens when some virus or script which applies the registry hack to make any drive write protect when connected to the computer, In that case follow the procedure below to remove write protection from your pen drive.

1. Open Start Menu >> Run, type regedit and press Enter, this will open the registry editor.

2. Navigate to the following path:

4. Exit Registry, restart your computer and then again re-connect your USB pen drive on your computer. That is it, done.

No solution, it is damaged now due to high voltage current which it could not handle. Flash drives are easily damaged by such problems. All data gone, bye bye.

Files on a flash drive can be corrupted if it is not removed from the USB port properly.
Before removing the flash drive click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon and then click on the flash drive you want to remove and then remove the flash drive when the computer message says it is Safe to remove.
To restore the flash drive you may need to format the flash drive, but you will lose the data stored on the flash drive.
