Wont load up just keeps
This can happen due to a variety of reasons. Does this happen after you see the windows boot screen or before that? Please clarify this info so that I can assist you with your problem.
I have a Toshiba Portege
Sounds like there might be dust inside of the laptop that is blocking one of the air vents. Plus the connectors to the screen may need to be reseated so that way the screen can be moved freely without it locking up on you and cutting off.
You have two issues going on. Bring it to somebody so they can open it up and make sure the air vents are cleaned out. Also they need to make sure the CPU fan is running properly. Then with the screen the connectors need to be reseated. Its also quite possible the screen connector might need to be replaced.
If the laptop is under warranty see if Toshiba will reapir it.
Mouse touch pad quit working
Well i'm not there, so i can't actually fix it for you, but chances are, assuming nothing out of the ordinary happened to it (eg, dropping it) you may have accidentally locked the mousepad. You can fix this in the control panel. I forget exactly where though...

Have you turned on the Touch feature on Windows 7 yet? That could be the reason why your touch screen feature is not working.
To turn it on please follow this:
1. Open your Start menu and type "Touch" into the search bar. This will show a variety of options, including the "Pen and Touch" options. Double-click it to open the "Pen and Touch" window.
2. Check the boxes next to the "Use your finger as an input device" and, if preferred, check the "Enable multi-touch gestures and inking" box as well.
3. Click "Apply" to set the options and click "OK" to exit the window.
Hope this helps!

Try removing the battery and see if it will boot without it
Then check the caharger, charging light should be green and steady on the charger itself
If it is flickering, it meand power is not making a circuit, test charger jack with a DC volt multimeter with one probe to the outer side (earth) and one on the inner (positive). If this is ok, check the charging socket is not loose (if it is, will need replacing).
After that, suspect the power strip or charging / powerboard is dead on the motherboard

Key board don't work on
Hello,
If your keyboard won't work, then it means you will have to do replace it. But before that, you will have to check first if the keyboard isn't disabled on your PC.
Go to Start > Control Panel > Keyboard.
Select hardware, select your keyboard name, then click properties. Click Change settings, click drivers and check if your keyboard was uninstalled or disabled. If it was disabled, you can enable it.
But if the above isn't the cause of the problem, get a USB keyboard (external keyboard), insert it into the USB port of your Toshiba protege m400 and it should work pending the time you have your keyboard replaced.
Good luck.

If you get an error message, you should start troubleshooting your hard drive.
Need to get into bios
Hit escape repeatedly while booting. When you get an error message that says hit F1 DO IT. Then you will enter bios.
I did a Google update
If you are lucky, there will be a restore point you can go back to on your computer. I expect Google update is unhappy with XP as it is an OS that is no longer supported.

That BIOS-password exists to protect you, should a thief gain posssession of your computer.
Find your original sales-receipt, to prove that you are the rightful owner, and telephone Toshiba.
Ask for Technical Support -- they can help you "nullify" that BIOS-password.
When booting, the system hangs
You can access the BIOS usually by pressing "esc", "F1", "F8", or "F12". One of those buttons
should work.
As for the hang up at the logo, it sounds like your hard drive might have crashed. The same thing
happened to me on my Vaio.
We bought the portege tablet version used and
If the hard drive is still intact, press F8 at boot up and run the restore programme. That will reformat the drive and put it back as it was when shipped. If that is not available, place an OS disc in the DVD drive and boot from there choosing "fresh install" to format the drive and start again.
Hope that helps.
