Unable to access scan folder
Connect to copier/scanner using web browser. Click Administration tab, and logon use the copier's username/password.
Click Network
Click SMB Session
Click SMB Session box
In
section called "SMB Signing of SMB Server", the default of "If client
agrees, digital signature is done for communication" needs to be
changed to "Digital signature isn't done for communication for the
server"
Click Set button at top, then Save button, and the copier will reset.
We have a toshiba estudio
Provided that you have checked all the SMTP client setting on the control panel (webpage) of the printer, the problem may well be with your internet provider or SMTP host if they have changed their setup. Getting SMTP service to work is more and more difficult due to security restrictions placed by ISPs due to their liability with regards to spamming. The machine will have an email address associated with it and that address needs to be authorised by the ISP or SMTP provider. If this feature was working and then stopped, I would first contact your ISP and put it to them, they may have to authorise the address to send email from. I have found that using a third party SMTP service (i.e. authsmtp.com ) worked better than the usual route.

Toshiba studio 281C problems
You should be able to print on both, but I wouldn't advise it at all. The envelopes are going to jam a LOT and you WILL eventualy get a label stuck inside the machine. Possible....yes. But I don't recommend it. :)

U need to check your developer material. How many copiers has been made?
U can also perform 05-200 for the auto toner adjustment. The value should be in the range of 235-245% ( 2.35v - 2.45v )
I can't print in color
The reason you are not able to print is color may be because the administrator has set the printing not to allow color printing
You will need to check the settings in the print driver to see what has been allowed or not allowed
Scan feature greyed out on Toshiba eStudio 232
You have to have the USB stick to enable the scan.
It locates on the right side near the back of the machine.
They make , print dongles, Scan dongles and print scan dongles. But that USB device enables scan.
Forgot password toshiba estudio 450
The default password is either 12345 or 123456.
If neither of those work then, turn machine off then power on while pressing the 0 & 8 keys then enter 263, then press Start. It will then display the Admin Password.

Hi, Go to 08 mode. Enter 263 and press START. It will show the current password. To change press C to clear and enter the new password.

With the machine off hold down 0 + 8 buttons and turn m/c on while holding them down.
Enter 263 on keypad and press start [green button]

F101-4: Partition mount error (The HDD cannot be connected (mounted) caused by damage to the "/work" partition.)
1. Turn the power of the equipment OFF and check the connection of the HDD.
- Connector and harness check
- Check if the connector pins of the HDD are bent.
- Check if HDD for other equipment is not installed.
- Check if SRAM for other equipment is not installed.
2. If the error still occurs after step 1, perform the following.
- Perform [3C] - [5] (Key Backup Restore) and check that each Key Status is "OK".
- If not, recover the key (copy "SRAM Key Status" to "FROM Key Status" or vice versa).
3. If the error persists after step 2, perform
[5]+[C]+[POWER]?2. Recovery F/S?3. /work, and then restart the equipment.
4. If the error persists after step 3, perform
[5]+[C]+[POWER]?3. Initialize HDD?2. /work, and then restart the equipment.
5. If the error still persists after step 4, perform the following.
- Perform [3C] - [3] (Format HDD), and then install "System Software (HD data)" with [49] - [4].
Notes:
The following items will be deleted by performing [3C] - [3] (Format HDD).
• Message Log
• Job Log
• Spool Data (Print, Email reception)
• Template
If the error persists after performing step 5, perform step 5 after performing [4]+[C]+[POWER]?1. Revert factory initial status HDD.
6. If the error persists even after step 5, replace the HDD.
