If all else fails, you should send it to an authorised dealer, who should be able to sort it out for you.
You can find out where your nearest dealer is at the web site "www.tissot.ch/". At the bottom of the page is a menu, click on "repairs".
There is a charge for fitting a new battery (which I know you have already done) but at least if you ask them to do it again you can be certain that it will be working when it comes back!

If you have had the watch some time then the battery might be running down.
Go to a watch shop and have the battery replaced. If this does not solve the problem, then you may have to take it to a Tissot dealer or send it to a repair depot.
If you need to look for a dealer, one can be found by going to the Tissot web site "www.tissot.ch", from the menu at the bottom of the page select "stores" and fill in your details.
Changing the battery
Take it to a reputable watch repair shop and let them change it for you! If you try to change that battery yourself and the crystal breaks or something goes wrong then you will have to send it back to Tissot for repair! They dont sell parts!
No sound on alarms
Hi there,
Well it seems that your watch settings may be disturbed or you need to change the battery in the watch, just try to remove the battery from your watch by opening the back cover and then insert a new battery after 1 hour, it helps you to reset your watch. and correct the battery problem also.
Good Luck!!

The usual way to adjust time and date is to screw out (not pull) the winder and rotate it backwards or forwards. The winder will have two "out"positions, one for the date and the other for the time. (the "screw" for the winder is to improve water resistance).
If you have already tried this and it does not work, then go to the Tissot web site "tissot.com", locate your nearest dealer and ask for advice.
Alternatively on the Tissot site find your watch under the heading "sport". To view all the watches in a section move your cursor along the dots, this moves the images along to find the one you want.
Select the PRC100 and details of your watch appear and at the bottom of the menu on the left hand side select "user manuals".
Click on "download" on the right and instructions will appear

I guess you never overhauled your watch.Every mechanism has it's limits - so does the watch movements. Your watch has ETA Swiss made mechanical movement which is very good and reliable, but you have to take care of it from time to time. Mechanical movements are designed to last almost forever if they are looked after and yours isn't an exception. Bring it down to the local watchmaker and ask to overhaul it. It will run as new again and will not let you down. It is recommended to overhaul mechanical watches every 4-6 years. If this will be done, your watch will happily tick-tock on your grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand children's wrist and they will remember you with a few good words and respect.
