When I raise the lid to replace the ink cartridge, the cartridge carrier does not come to the middle of the opening.
Check for any paper jams: Remove any paper that may be stuck in the printer. Make sure there are no bits of paper or debris that could be blocking the ink cartridge carrier.
Manually move the ink cartridge carrier: Unplug the printer from the power source and then try to move the ink cartridge carrier manually to the center of the opening. If it moves, check if the cartridges are installed correctly and firmly .
Reset the printer: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and check if the ink cartridge carrier moves to the center.
If these procedures offer no relief, contact customer service of the manufacturer.
