Clicking on this link will provide you with a pdf file of the manual at the bottom of your computer screen. Click on that file. On page 12, it talks about adding fruit to the dispenser (amount to make a bread) but does not say how much fruit to add. Is it possible you added too much fruit as to why it did not dispense the fruit? On page 14, it talks about the "program having been set, the fruit material can be thrown into the bread pan at right time." It sounds as if this is done automatically. Im not familiar with that particular brand but all electric deep fryers use the same method of heating the coil that is surrounded by oil much like a kettle or coffee pot. So with that in mind it is normal for some brands to sit baskets directly on the elements but if in doubt dont risk your safety and purchase a new unit with instructions and warranty
