My Optiway Fortress 1704FS won't go. I put new batteries and charged them.
Hey there! Sorry to hear about your Optiway Fortress 1704FS scooter not working. From my experience, there are a few things that could be causing this issue.
First, make sure that the batteries are properly installed and connected. Even if they are new and fully charged, if they aren't properly installed, the scooter won't work.
If the batteries are properly installed, you may want to check the fuse. The fuse could have blown, which would prevent the scooter from working even with new batteries.
Lastly, it could be an issue with the motor or controller. If neither of the above solutions work, it may be best to take the scooter to a repair shop to have them take a closer look.
Hope this helps and good luck getting your scooter up and running again!
How can I remove the wheels on a road knight mobility scooter when the fixing bolt / nut won't budge ?
If the fixing bolt/nut on your Road Knight mobility scooter's wheel won't budge, you can try the following steps to remove the wheel:
- Apply some penetrating oil: Spray some penetrating oil like WD-40 or PB Blaster on the bolt/nut and let it sit for a few hours. This can help loosen the rust and make it easier to remove the bolt/nut.
- Use a breaker bar: A breaker bar is a longer tool that can give you more leverage to apply force to the bolt/nut. Place the breaker bar on the nut and try to turn it counterclockwise to loosen it.
- Use heat: Heat can help expand the metal and loosen the bolt/nut. You can use a heat gun or a propane torch to heat up the nut and then try to remove it with a wrench or breaker bar.
- Use an impact wrench: An impact wrench can apply a sudden burst of torque to the bolt/nut and help loosen it. You can rent an impact wrench from a tool rental store or hire a professional mechanic to help you.
- Seek professional help: If none of the above steps work, it's best to seek the help of a professional mechanic who can use specialized tools and techniques to remove the bolt/nut without damaging the scooter.
Remember to be careful when working on your mobility scooter and always prioritize safety. If you are not confident in your ability to remove the wheels yourself, seek the help of a professional.

hi, H Bridge is the design used for the output of the controller , I'm surprised you getting that message , normally it like 8 flashes etc
so it's a critical error and the controller wherever that is situated either in the joystick or separate unit under the chair , it's worth checking the brushes in the motor just in case they need replacing ,..

What does solid red and green lights on QIANHUI 6O VOLT ebike charger mean
A solid red and green light on your QIANHUI 60 volt ebike charger usually indicates that the battery is fully charged and the charger is in a standby or maintenance mode. When the battery is fully charged, the charger will automatically switch to this mode to prevent overcharging and prolong the battery life.
If the lights remain solid even after unplugging and reconnecting the charger, it could indicate a problem with the charger or the battery. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check the battery: Make sure the battery is properly connected and functioning. You can try using a voltmeter to test the voltage of the battery. If the voltage is too low, the charger may not recognize it and remain in standby mode.
- Check the charger: Make sure the charger is properly connected to the power outlet and the battery. You can try unplugging and replugging the charger to ensure a good connection.
- Check for faults: Some chargers have a fault indicator that will illuminate if there is a problem with the charger or the battery. Check the user manual or contact the manufacturer to see if your charger has this feature.
