they are not repairable. Ensure that you have power at the pump receptacle. Your power should be on a GFCI circuit either breaker of receptacle. try resetting GFCI. If that does not work call electrician. Personally I would replace pump, they are an inexpensive pump. $24.00 on amazon

Is there a gasket or o-ring that is damaged or bad? IF not you can run a bead of silicon around it where the surfaces join and let it dry before you put it together. This would make a gasket.

You can solve this with a simple hose clamp from any hardware store. Take the hose with you and they will get you the right size one.

What size is your pond Length X Width X Depth. What temperature is your pond at? Is the pond located inside or outside? How big are the Koi? and how many are there?

A size and description of the washer could help. If it is the size of the intake tube then it is for the intake tube. If it is the size of the filter then it is for the filter etc etc.

This can happen and will generally clear with time, if you are concerned do a water change. I find that this treatment is more hassle than its worth, if you have a suitable filter seachem denitrate is a good alternative, or he aquarium pure balls.

the instructions on mine said that you shouldnt' attempt any repairs yourself. You should always contact the manufacturer. i read a few people's complaints about the filter stopping working after a short time, so if i were you i would make a big fuss about it to the shop where you bought it. Sounds like it is being stopped by debris or a fault and this is causing the heat, try disassembling and cleaning and see if that helps.

Has it exceeded the manufacturer's warranty? Don't try to compromise the water tight housing where the electro-magnet is located, as this could result in a nasty electric shock (or worse). Try cleaning the impeller and the impeller housing. Perhaps try a replacement impeller.

What type and size hose are you connecting to the fittings? What type of clapms are being used also?
