plug machine in turn timer knob to 6 o'clock position press and hold spin speed button turn timer knob 1 click clockwise release spin speed button now turn programmer knob to off wait 5 secs and turn on I had the exact same issueI hopefully it will work but you may have to repeat a few times and some engineers say it only works with motor unplugged but I have not found that.

Could be worn carbon brushes, or possibly defective shock absorbers

Any filters on it? There could be a waste filter and water in filter. Waste, if one, should be in or at bottom and water filter would be at the rear of the machine. Normally the flexi hose will have a fine mesh filter filter fitted and that could be blocked by contaminates in the water supply such as limescale. Machine has a pressure flow switch so if blocked the pressure would drop.

I have asimilar problem. HAve you solved it yet ?
