The Thermo temp flashes HHH ....and the thermometer keeps beeping...??? What do I do!?

That means the temp is higher than the unit is able to detect. If it has been exposed to very high heat then it is damaged. It may still have a bad sensor.

My Taylor we 1502 is showing HH in the outside relative indicator. How do I get it to recognize the outside relative humidity %? Thanks

If the outside temperature is currently displayed, there may not be anything wrong with the we 1502 sensor. The HH indicates that the outside relative humidity is above 95%; that is a limit of the sensor's detection/accuracy range. You could try moving your we 1502 sensor to a dryer area where it isn't exposed to rain/other falling water or wait until things dry out. I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model for the base of your weather system for more information. The HH message applies to most Taylor weather systems. Our Taylor digital thermometer display is extremely dim and hard to read. It needs to be tilted just the right way. It is also lit but has the same problem. This has been since we bought it.

Change the batteries. LCD displays will appear very dim and hard to read except at certain angles is the batteries are low.

Outdoor sensor says HHH

My outdoor thermometer transmitter was sending hhh instead of the current temperature. I opened it up a bit and sprayed it with compressed air (Ultra Duster or similar product) to clean the temperature sensor. It has worked fine since then.

Taylor 3516 battery replacement

The battery is a "G10-A CNB." To replace it, you need a flat surface, a good light, and a pair of tweezers or a small (i.e., jeweler's) screwdriver. A magnifying glass is also helpful to see how the battery is mounted. 1. Make sure the thermometer is turned off. 2. Find the side with the indentation and pry the upper half of the thermometer (the face) away from the body. The two are attached by a pair of wires. Be careful not to detach these during the remaining steps. 3. The battery is held in by a circular metal cover that is the same size and shape as the battery. The clip is soldered to the circuit board on opposite sides. Imagining that the solder points are at North and South of a compass, there will be two small flaps on the cover at the East and West positions. These are folded over the side of the battery and help hold it in place. 4. To remove the battery, push the battery near one of the flaps and force it out the opposite side of the clip where the other flap is. It may be necessary to pry up the opposite flap a bit before doing this. 5. Reverse the previous step to slide the replacement battery in under the clip. 6. Press the face of the thermometer back onto the body. 7. Turn the thermometer on to check whether the new battery is working.

Reading of 200 degrees F when immersed in boiling water. IF I cover the boiling water then it goes to 210 or so but that is a problem as when making candy I do not have a lid on the pot. Can you help?

In vigorously boiling water, it should read 212 (at sea level) or a little less, depending on your elevation - lid on or not. Maybe the water wasn't boiling fast when you got the 200 reading. Make sure the probe tip is not touching the pot sides or bottom.

Replaced batteries, outsid temp. does not display

Base Station Battery Installation ·Remove the printed vinyl label from the LCD screen of the base station ·Position the remote sensor near the base station ·Open the battery compartment at the back of the base station and insert (2) AA batteries according to the polarity markings. Replace the battery compartment cover. ·Within a short time the RF signal icon (located to the left of the outdoor temperature channel indicator) will start flashing. This indicates that the base station is ready to pick up the RF outdoor temperature signal from the remote sensor. It will continue to flash for 3 minutes or until the signal from the remote sensor is detected. Register the Remote Sensor ·Open the battery compartment at the back of the remote sensor and slide the channel selector switch to your desired channel. For the first remote you may select any channel, for additional remotes select any unused channel ·Insert (2) AAA batteries according to the polarity markings. Be sure to install the batteries in the remote within the time that the RF signal icon is flashing on the base station. 1541 WeatherGuide Wireless Weather Forecaster with Barometer
