Hello
Just enter to this YouTube video. You can understand how the date can be adjusted. The date of all date-watches will turn around to next day at 12 midnight, ie, once in 24 hour. If you adjust the date before 12 Noon, it will turn around to next date at 12:01 noon. So adjust the date afternoon. See this video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PmrNwxi4ls
OK.
This sounds to me as the Oscillating weight is getting loose and touching the movement. There could be a loose screw as well. That's why your watch is stopping (not enough power to fully auto-wind the spring). There is nothing you can do, I'm afraid, but to show watch to the watchmaker for proper inspection. The longer you'll wear it as it is - the more damage will be done.

I have this same exact watch with the same problem. In November of this year, my watch just stopped with an inability to autowind itself. I'm a little mad because I have babied this watch, while only wearing it on special occasions (10x). What's the problem?
