How to tell if tag heuer professional is authentic?
Paste this link into your browser and discover Carrera and other TagHeuer models:

Fake
watches are poorly made, writings are smudged, Watch itself is much
lighter in weight than the original, movements are of very poor quality
e.t.c.
The original watch oozes with quality and every tiny detail
is superbly finished. All writings are crisp and sharp. Materials are
of the top quality only. Check in pictures how fine is every detail. If you have anything less than what you see, DO NOT buy it.

Problems with Tag Heuer 2000 Classic WK1120.BB0314
Explanation is simple: your watch has jammed geartrain or some dirt particles stuck into geartrain. This is why the seconds hand was moving backwards and forwards.
Nothing to do with EOL (End Of Life) feature wich is built into watch microelectronics and signals that this is the time to replace battery by advancing seconds hand two or four seconds at once.
To open the watch you need a proper watch caseback opening tool, but I can't see any reason for doing that as you will not be able to fix the geartrain problem without proper knowledge and skills.
If the warranty of the watch is expired, you don't need a TAG specialist as you will be charged for job anyway. So, find your nearest watchmaker shop and ask for repair.

I own a tag heuer
Yes it is correct as your watch has a counterclockwise crown forward setting direction. This is due to the specificaly layered lever and setting gear construction, so, nothing wrong with your watch.

Need instruction manuals
Go to
www.tagheuer.com
If you can't find exatly your model, don't be upset and check the closely matching models ( I mean with same features as: pushbutton count, subdials, count of hands and so on). TAG is still using the same movements as before and what you see is just different look. That means you CAN find user manual for your watch.
Good Luck
Arthur
The second hand on my TAG automatic jumps in 4 second intervals.
This is very strange situation, as usually this occurs in quartz watches with integrated EOL (End Of Life) only and that is a signal for time to change battery.
In your case I can see the only reason- seconds hand somehow became loose and you need to refit it.
Find your nearest watchmaker and ask to do the job. It's not a big deal, but requires professional skill.
Taking links out of a tag watch
TAG Link watches has very distinctive bracelets, but there is the price to pay for it- as they do wear out it's almost impossible to repair and costly replacement is needed.
In your case: open the clasp first and check if the bracelet end links has holes on sides. If yes, then find which end of the pin is split or have groove in it. This end Must come out first! Use small hammer and hardened steel pin to drive bracelet pins out.
When assembling bracelet back together, note that the pins MUST go back exactly the same way as they came out (blunt end first in and split end last).
Good luck
Arthur
Adjusting clasp on a Timex watch
Check that clasp from both sides and you should see spring lug ends. Use small pin to get them out(by pushing in). When pin is out you can adjust bracelet.
Good luck
Arthur
II would like to add links to my tag heuer
It sounds like links has been taken out previously. Check the last link ( the one that fits directly into bracelet). There must be a hole and you should be able add links.
Moisture
After 5 years all of the case parts must be replaced i.e.,gaskets and crown then the watch must be pressure tested.
anyone who is autherized woulod know that.
contact Tag to have the matter resolved
