You should be able to access the A/V input by cycling through all available channels (using the Channel Up/Down buttons). You may need the A/V device to be powered on. However, if you programmed the Channel list to skip Aux, you may need to add that back into the list. You need the Menu function on the remote. Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate to Channel Set Up. Then press the F.Fwd (right arrow) to enter the sub-menu. Then select the Add/Delete Channel option. Another way to access the A/V input is accessed by pressing the Game button on the original remote. (This also adjusts the screen lighting.) I assume you are refering to the laser in a CD drive. Use 97% isopropyl alcohol. Put a drop or two on a Q-tip and wipe the dust off the lens. Let the alcohol dry completely before reassembling the drive.

Does it make mechanical noise while it is trying to read a disc? That would indicate a laser out of adjustment trying to focus. Otherwise you may just need to clean the lens with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. Let it dry well before you fire it up again. Most player issues are due to a dirty lens and most disc style lens cleaners are only meant to be used as a maintenance item.

Kevin, is it just the game that's small or all TV content? If the TV is old enough it may have Vertical and Horizontal size controls on the back. A small screw driver and hand mirror can be used to watch while you adjust. .
