Sunpentown Cooktops - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

I looked up your cooktop and discovered it to be made by Frigidaire.
Hence & therefore, try the website "searspartsdirect" and see of they will give you schematics to buy the parts for your needs.
God bless your efforts.

Something inside is short-circuited. All components look fine thans to burned fuse. Don't try it anymore with new fuses. You need to get a repairman to check it out.

Contact this gentleman: Sandor Horky
He helped us with parts we needed for our CREDA Model GGH110. I believe the company ADCO is the after market people for CREDA. Good Luck. PA Fi.

Wow I am curious, I have a DEFY 600 STS Thermofan and the plates are also raditcally overheating. The dials go from 1 to 8 but even on setting 1 water boils and settings above 1 is a totally mess.

I find on the internet information about thermostats, but isn't replacing a thermostat only for an overheating oven?

@N, how did you fix this problem?

With all due respect, if you need to ask, call an electrician. Better than electrocuting yourself and anyone else who uses it.
