You will need solid coax ends and connects. You need very high grade coax union and snap and seal coax BNC connectors for both ends.You also need a RFI filtered surge protector to filter all the AC plugs for the HDMI box. This shoulf fix your problem

You'll have to remove the back cover of the tv. You'll see screws all around the edge of the back cover. Then you'll have to remove all the circuit boards that are inside. once this is done, you'll be able to remove the glass panel and clean the droppings out.

Your issue will require some diagnostic from your local TV Repair Shop. In today's market, unless you find a repairman that does this work for a hobby, the cost of the parts and labor is higher than the value of the TV.
It may be in your best interest to research the LCD and LED TVs at your local WalMart/KMart/Best Buy.

Either the audio settings are messed up - the easiest way to fix that is to reset them - or the speakers are defective. To check the speakers just connect another set in the outputs at the rear.
By the way the default audio settings are: stereo, all sound processors disabled, and the equalizer set on flat.

Turn off close caption in tv, need to go to menu to turn off close caption function, that will solve your black rectangular box problem.
