My sunbeam model SAB602DQ-05 D332NT weights off about 30 lbs it has an adjustment assisted but there's 3 holes to to adjust what to I do?

it is not car or truck it is a bathroom scale (people) so can we guess you lost the manual well there are only 2 cures for lost manuals 1: call the maker and ask 2: or GOOGLE it. ever google manuals? it takes only 3 seconds.

Sunbeam heating pad flashing F

Unfortunately I bought this heating pad three months ago and it too has an F in the display which I think means 'failure' but I do not know why.
