Power button not working
There are many screws you would need to access...
However in 6 years of working on these I have never seen a power switch fail.. In most cases it is a bigger problem with teh main board and that usually means there has been a leak or some other major fault.
If your in Brisbane a simple fix for you - I can check out / repair. If not try

Sunbeam Barista Max EM5300 Leak
I was looking for a Service manual, but can only find the owners manual.

Steam wands are nearly always blocked with cooked and congealed milk. I have spent an entire career in catering and the last 10 years working with 6 coffee machines that dispense over a thousand cups a day in Airport Business Class Lounges. They need cleaning 3 times a day in those circumstances and we use an enzyme milk system cleaner. The wands are usually fairly easy to remove and you can get tube brushes or the type they now sell for cleaning stainless steel straws.
The leak will certainly be from the brew head. They have multiple O-ring seals that need changing every 4 to 6 months in a commercial setting.
All of the machines have access. Remove back and sides. Look for screws on the side that hold the top. Everything is fitted into a frame.
There is some help in the manual, but not enough.

Will not process the water
the coffe maker might be clogged up so here' what to do:
Look through the clear plastic panel on the side of the coffee maker's water tank to make sure that it has water in it.
Clean your Sunbeam coffee maker, You can wash the removable filter basket and carafe in hot, soapy water and pour 4 cups of white vinegar into the water reservoir of your coffee maker. Start the brewing cycle with no coffee grounds to allow the vinegar to clean the inside of the coffee maker. Rinse away the vinegar by running the brewing cycle twice with only clean, fresh water.

Check the removable filter basket to see if the filter has collapsed if you find coffee grounds in your brewed coffee. If the paper filters collapse often you can wet them before you place them inside the filter basket so that they will stick to the basket and stay in place. or check this link because it might need a new hose.
