Hazard lights flashing
I have a 97 subaru outback and encountered the same problem. It is a security device on all newer subaru's. After changing or charging the battery, leave the negetive battery cable disconnected. Turn the key to the "on" position, then reconnect the negative terminal. This will stop the flashing.
Replace blower motor resister in 07 Subaru Tribeca
Sorry I can't tell you where or how but it is invariably fitted somewhere in the heater air intake in order to keep it cool as during use on the lower speeds it can become very hot. Most are fitted high in the intake but some are fitted near the motor where the intake narrows to take advantage of the higher velocity air flow.
1998 subaru forester runs rough when it rains.
Check the cap and rotor for internal carbon tracking or, just change them. Also, take a look at the coil when its dark and rainy and see if there is any arcing where the coil wire goes into it.
2005 Wagon. Why don't backup lights, license plate & running lights turn on?
Did you check #14 Maxi fuse under hood? Check 1 bulb to make sure it's good, over my career I've seen too many cars come to my shop (Auto Electric) with all the lights burned out. After that I see a relay but you tested it did you swap it with another? That relay looks to be located next to the Maxi fuse. Do this unplug the relay then jumper battery positive into the Green/Yellow if it goes replace relay if not look at the switch check the Green/Yellow and Black/White they should both have battery positive voltage enough to light a regular test light if yes. Replace the switch. I hope this helps. Take care.
How to reset fuel settings of 2009 forester
Hi Robert, There are very few adjustments to carry out on the system. I would suggest a good service and the replacement of the air cleaner element. Have the vehicle diagnostically scanned to make sure none of the sensors have not become defective. regards John
Thermostat direction for 1999 subaru ooutback legacy
Is this to work out which way up it goes into the engine block? If you look closely at the thermostat You will see a large spring on one end. That is the end that goes into the hole in the engine block. when it is in place you should not be able to see that spring.
