Tighten the LHS only. It runs to the LHS because the RHS has been tightened more. Try turning 180 deg clockwise on the LHS with the machine running @ 2 kph. The machine must be running to adjust.Turn 45 deg at a time if the first 180 wasn't enough.

I have the same machine, and I have a feeling that it has a natural 1% incline which is supposed to simulate the difference with no wind resistance.

please test the speed sensor. see the diagram attached .This is probably a faulty speed sensor or the speed sensor is not plugged in properly. Its also possibly a faulty motor control board test the output voltage for input voltage terminal power if there are NOT the board is faulty . The error codes will differ between makes and models but could be e1.See my personal TIPS for help. God bless you

If calibration doesn't work replace controller.
