If the Speedos are not working, don't go swimming. I am curious to know why a query regarding swimwear has been posted in a forum dealing with cameras - care to enlighten me, please?

It probably means your usb connection is loose. You can try another usb port on your mac, if that is better then the usb port you usually use is bent or has a loose connection, if not the problem is likely the MP3 player's usb. You could try putting a small amount of weight on the MP3 Player while its plugged in to improve connection. While it is plugged in, use your finger to lightly move the device up or down and hold gently. If the connection improves, use a small weight to hold device in that spot. If you are pushing down put a small box on top of the device, if you are pushing up, gently wedge something underneath drive. Hope this helps.

If it's "brand new" then I would return it under warrenty for repair or exchange. If for some reason that's not possible, then you need to dry it out internally. One way to do this is to bury the camera in rice. Remove the battery & put camera in a bag of rice and store in a warm place for several days. If you're lucky it will work again after charging the battery. Of course this will NOT fix the problem of leaking, and you'll never be able to use it underwater. So WARRENTY is the way to go.

I would recommend you contact your dealer and avail the warranty if it still has.

The type of problem you have can be on the plug of the data cable that you are using to connect your unit to your PC, or there is an open wire on your data cable, or possible that the built-in rechargeable battery is faulty.

If you have other cable that you can use to connect it to your PC and try to charge it, so you could isolate the possibility that the cable is the culprit you may do so.

You have to make sure that this unit has no other activity like LED lit or flashing. Cause if there is other activity, then it could be a file format case that this unit is not supported that causing this unit not to turn on..

It comes with Playlist Editing Software that automates the process, but the one that comes in it is incompatible with 7 so either use the playlist capability of Windows Media Player or none at all. website says the software is not compatible with mac, but it states that when you connect the device to your mac a folder should show up on the desktop and you can just drag songs into that folder

I have the same issue. I tried to reset it, but unsuccessfully.It does charge, but windows is not recognizing it anymore and I can't play the tracks.

go to device manager and search for new hardware then it should find it

i had the same problem and i was told to try plugging it into another USB port on my PC and that worked. however, i was using a PC and not a laptop, not sure whether that will make a difference. good luck.

You know that it will only work when earphones are inserted? Push the "Play" button for about 10 secs and wait for the beep.

I do not understand the term "reset"? Have you checked that you have .mp3 files on it? Try going through the normal procedure at the pc and look at the player like an USB stick. The files should be on the top level.
