I guess you have to go to;Settings > Security > Screenlock (or something like that)Then just hit Screenlock, then you have to apply the answer of that maze of yours, then simply switch to something else, like no lock at all, pin-code, password etc.

If you could specify more that would really help, but you could try heading over to Settings > Network/WiFi (or something like that) and you should be able to turn on WiFi, mobile network, and have settings that might help your condition with no network.

I guess you could use the mobile-network?Settings > Network & Wifi There you will find something like mobile network / mobile-traffic or something, I havee a norwegian phone, so I don't know what it is called on the enligsh versions.
