You need a original replace screen, the compatible screen may not work.

By SONY error code lists, 4-blink indicates a defective display panel or T-CON board problem. I would try a new T-CON board first.

This Tv was sold starting in 2008. You have a couple of problems if you are sure there are 2 different blink codes. 13 blinks indicates a backlight balancer error which would explain your no light condition. 14 blinks would be a TCON board error which is the driver board for the LCD screen. Either error would keep the screen black.

IF you are using component input, switch the red and blue and report back

Check the voltage that goes to its back light inverter board, from the main power supply regulator board. If there is no voltage, there will be no backlight and the screen will be dark. If there is voltage, and still the screen is dark, you have to contact the authorized service center for Sony; because, to repair it, the display panel have to be disassembled. This means your tv is going out. If it is relatively new I would call the store and ask for a refund or exchange.
