Depending in its age, the battery might just be shot. It may say full charge cause it takes all it can but it might only be a few min worth. Most Mp3 players can be taken apart and the battery replaced.

This is possibly a driver problem or a faulty connection leadconnect your walkam to your computeronce its connected the hardware wizard should start if not you might have to install it manually

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll through all of your devices

if you see a yellow question or exclamation mark ? ! or a red X you will need to update the drivers for this device right click select update driver/reinstall driver

if you can see your usb device but its not working scroll to Ports(Com&Ltd) right click to update driver if you computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on ithope this helps

I have a similar model. The file itself needs to be the correct format, otherwise it won't open (this is a limitation on the software/encoding etc). However, once the file is on there, plug in a mini usb, access the walkman through your computer, then open it up that way

What operating system does your computer have? If it's Windows XP or Vista, you can try the advice in this article from Visualpawn.com. It's possible that it's an internal issue. The only thing i can say is to restore your firmware if you can. If not, it's probably dieing on you. Windows media player works for all MP3 players, but don't confuse it with Media Center. Goto the sync tab and make a playlist for the player, hit sync, and viola music. Make sure the correct device is selected in the sync tab before you start.

Just try "0000" or "12345" (they are usually the standarty code)Or see if you can change the code in the settings...As for the "reset" button. it will just reboot the device...

This is the second Sony Walkman needing help today/this morning. I personally think that they must be pieces of crud. Any ways, maybe you just have a certain amount of voice recordings that you can do. Play around on it. Keep searching on the internet.
