My Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 not show anything to display.
Display show only logo & i have connect pc then show "connected USB.the timer and Alarm will become invalid"
pls solve this problem?

just plug it in seems like it has this Built-in 170 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery so it doesn't need changing just charging unless it won't charge then check youtube and see if there is a video on it

Hi Brian, It would seem obvious to contact Sony customer support. Failing that, you need to have access to another phone (in English) and use that as a "template" to work through the settings menu.

Replacement batteries are available on Amazon. Turn the A829 over and remove the one recessed screw at the top centre of the back case. You will then be able to slide this part off. Careful not to lose the shield that may fall off underneath this cover. You will now find two screws underneath holding the rest of the back cover on and also two at bottom. A set of philips watchmaker's screwdrivers plus tweezers will be helpful. Put screws in safe place.Fully remove the back and you will find the battery which has a small connector on the lead held in place by a strip of adhesive tape. Remove connector and battery and replace with the new battery. Put tape back on the connector and then replace back of MP3 player in the reverse order that you took it off. The shield that fell off on mine fits in top centre of device - mine fell off and I had to work out where it came from!Hopefully these directions will help you

If the Sony Walkman Mp3 is not detected as a drive in windows explorer but shows as a portable device in Device manager,, do the following
right Click My Computer > Manage
Select Device manager
right click Walkman , which will be under Windows Portable devices
Click Update driver
Select no, not this time, click next
Select Install from a specific list... ( Advanced) and click Next
select don search ,....
Click Next
Put a check mark in Show compatible ...
Select USB Mass storage device and click next
Conitnue and the device will be detected as a drive in windows explorer

you can charge your walkman onto your cable box (if own one) and download music and videos off of youtube. Go into my documents and type in brand name into files and it might recognize it.

This issue may occur if the portable player was formatted via Windows Explorer. Follow these steps to correct this issue:
NOTE: If the message you receive is Format OK? , select Cancel .
1. Connect the player to the computer.
2. Click Start and then click My Computer .
NOTE: If the Portable Device box appears, click Cancel .
3. In the My Computer window, under Other , double click the icon for your portable player.
4. In the My Computer [Name of your device] window, right click the Internal Storage icon and then click Format from the menu.
5. In the Format box, click OK .
6. In the Format Complete box, click OK .
7. Close the My Computer windows.
8. Disconnect the portable player from the computer.
9. If it is not on, press the power button to turn it on.
10. Press the selector button repeatedly until Settings is highlighted.
11. Press the Play / Pause button.
12. Press the selector button repeatedly until Format is highlighted.
13. Press the Play / Pause button.
14. Press the selector button one time to highlight OK .
15. Press the Play / Pause button.
16. Once the player has finished setting up, Music Library will appear in the display and you can now use your portable player.
17. Test the player for proper functionality. If the error still occurs, reset the player by pressing the RESET button with a small pin or similar object.
The troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If you have completed all of the steps and the issue is not resolved, service may be required.

mp3 generally have a LiPo battery inside. when you left the mp3 on the computer, you probably overcharged it! look if the battery of your mp3 is swelling or not(if at all you are able to open it). now the point is, don't charge it any further or there are chances of the battery exploding. immediately get a NEW LiPo battery along with an appropriate balance charger and use them.
