What were you doing when error occured? Seems like this error is common when trying to upload music to your ps3 via a CD. If so, some copied discs cannot be read by the PS3 or it could be protected in the data on the cd.

Okay, Follow these steps to fix out this issue: METHOD 1: Re-installing the application Step 1 - Go to the application that you got the error with. Step 2 - Open that application download page on the Play store. Step 3 - Uninstall it or even uninstall all the update (If the error came when you were updating the application). Step 4 - Now you clear the task manager and try installing it once again. If the play store error 920 doesn't come then you have solved the problem and now wasn't that easy. So it's always best to try this step before doing anything else. METHOD 2: Switching off and turning the wifi (cellular data) on Step 1 - To remove that load Just turn your wifi off and then turn your wifi on (the same goes with your cellular data). Step 2 - Now after doing this go to your Play Store application and download the application that you were going to download. Now your Play Store Error 920 won't be bothering you anymore. METHOD 3: Clearing the cache and data of Google Play Store Step 1 - Go to settings of your device. Step 2 - Now find "Applications" option under the settings menu. Here you can find "Google Play Store" option. Open it. Step 3 - Now, at the bottom, you can find "Clear Cache" option. Tap on it and your all cache will be cleared. METHOD 4: Removing and adding back your Google account Step 1 - go to Settings of your Mobile. Step 2- Now, find "Accounts" and then go to "Google Accounts". Step 3 - In that section find the account you use for the play store or the account that you were using while the error came in. Once you tap on your specific account you'll find an option to remove the account. Tap on it. Step 4 - Now you have successfully removed your account and after that re-add your account. After entering your email id and password and hence adding your account. Go back to the play store and find the application that you were downloading or updating when the error code 920 came in. Deactivating the Buttons on the Unit (Child Lock) You can deactivate the buttons on the unit (except for on/off) for preventing misoperation, such as child mischief. Hold down (stop/square black button) on the unit for more than 5 seconds."LOCKED" appears in the front panel display. The child lock function is activated and the buttons on the unit are locked. It's likely that the sub channels are just switched off. Go to the speaker settings or set up and check that the sub channels are switched to on.

Bought a new VCR. Probably cheaper than going to a shop, or paying for any plans or advice, to get a repair and new remote.

your question depends on how good you are at electronic diagnosis (symptom diagnosis) and how adept you are at removing and installing electronc components. first you have to determine why the amplifier has stopped working on the left channel. Make sure that the problem isn't a simple one, take the speakers off the right side and hook them to the left side and see if you get sound. If you do,, then the problem is the left speaker or left speaker wire. If you don't get sound then tyr taking the input that feeds the right channel and pluggin it into the left channel and listen for sound, if you get sound now the problem was the signal from your source not being sent down the left side.
If it still doesn't work you need to move inside the amplfier, but first, get close to the back of the amp and give a sniff, do you smell anything (a pungent burnt wire or rubber smell) if you do, the the chances are good that some components have burned out. Do you recall having a shorted speaker wire on the left side? shorted speaker wires are notorious (especailly older equipment) for burning out the final amplifer stage. If this was an expensive amp it might be worth fixing, if its not worth much then maybe you should consider religating it to use as a monophonic amplifier (one channel) you could use it to power a sub woofer in a hibryd stereo or surround sound system.
