No sound on video when i play it back on my PC

1. Install a multimedia player which can play the camera videos (.mp4, .mpeg, .dat files) like VLC Player, Real Player, KMP Player, etc.

3. You can also play these videos on the media player which came with the software bundle (CD) of your Sony Cyber Shot camera.

tell me if it helps...tc! :)

My sony cyber shot lens will not go back in it sounds like it is trying to do do and their is a light flashing.

There is probably a bit of grit or something similar caught in the lens control. Service or repair, I'm afraid.

Join/Combine Canon HF M300 AVCHD MTS raw footage-Stream Canon MTS to Panasonic...

Best Mac Manage MTS Converter-Cut and Join Canon HF M300 AVCHD MTS clips to Panasonic HDTV with Highest Qulity
I am using Canon HF M300 to record videos and the camcorder saves AVCHD files in .mts format. The Canon VIXIA HF M300 captured 1920 x 1080 24Mbps Full HD Recording. I connect the Canon Camcorder to my Panasonic HDTV via direct USB. However, I found my shooting video of the HF M300 have some pause and interlace in the process of recording. So I need to delete much unwanted mts clips and join into one big files. So I asked for some help on some forums and was recommended to try freeware TSmuxer, TSsniper which can help me to Split and Merge AVCHD MTS files. But it is frustrated for Mac users because most of them can only work on Windows platform. Then one of my friend recommended to a new MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 cutter/joiner software for Final Mate for Mac exactly what I want - delete the unwant .mts clips and merge HF M300 1080/60p meaningful MTS files to one single MTS files without re-encoding. And I had succeed play those merged .mts files on my Panasonic TV.

Here is the detailed guide introduces how to split unwanted HF M300 record AVCHD .mts clips and join meaningful mts clips without conversion for playing on Panasonic HDTV with Mac OS X Snow Leopard on iMac, MacBook, Mac Pro.

Step 1: Import/Capture Canon HF M300 Camcorder AVCHD files to Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac.
Free Download Final Mate for Mac as a Best Mac Manage MTS Converter. When Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac is run, it can automatically detect and pop up a wizard for you to capture video from camcorder. The videos would be listed on the "Camcorder" tab.

Step 2: Create a Movie for cutting and joining HF M300 1080/24Mbps MTS clips.
Click the Add movie button, and choose the" For Lossless Output", a movie about cut mts for lossless output will be created by default. Then select one or multiple mts video files you would like to split, join from the Camcorder tab and then drag and drop them to Movie tab. In this way, a Movie for no re-encoding will be created.

Step 3. Cut off unwanted parts from raw MTS movie for store.
From the timeline, to cut/trim the video, just play it and click the Split button when it plays to the frame you want, and then click the "Delete" button next to the Split button to remove the unwanted. And the Previous Frame and Next Frame buttons can help you locate each frame of the videos and cut with frame accuracy.

Step 4. Join/combine HF M300 AVCHD MTS raw footage.
To join another clip to the end of the movie, just select the file, drag and drop to the movie ID. The files will be joined into one file as output.

Step 5. Export One Big raw HF M300 MTS with no loss of quality.
Click the Export button and you click the OK button, the Mac MTS/M2TS cutter/joiner will start merging large .mts files into one mts without conversion at the fast speed. The non-conversion process will prevent loss of quality when Mac joining HF M300 avchd camcorder files for storing.

After a few seconds, I Connect Canon Camcorder Movies to my Panasonic HDTV via direct USB. If you have a look at Motorola Droid X, you may notice the Droid X is compatible with DLNA service. DLNA, as the short term for Digital Living Network Alliance, is to make it possible to view media between PCs, mobile devices and other consumer electronics. If you have a home wired or wireless network, e.g. Wi Fi network and a DLNA-capable TV, you can stream music, movies and photos from Droid X to TV. DLNA make it an alternative method to watch Droid X videos on TV besides HDMI output with Verizon Gallery app.

Since we may sometimes do not have DLNA PC or transfer videos from PC to Droid X, we may face the problem of putting movies to Droid X. Here the guide will include two parts: one for DLNA Convert Movies to Droid X and the other for Streaming Movies from Droid X to HDTV.

Part I. Convert/Transfer movies to Droid X
We need a powerful video to Droid X converter on Windows computer to make most videos compatible to Droid X. Run Aunsoft Video Converter as the perfect Droid X video converter, and click the "Add" button to load HD videos in formats like .tivo, .ts, .mkv, .mts, .avi, .rmvb.

Step 2. Choose Motorola Android MP4 format by clicking the "Format" option and navigating to Android > Motorola Droid (X) H.264 Video(*.mp4).

Step 3. Convert HD videos to H.264 MP4 for Droid X by clicking the start button under the preview window. After conversion, connect Droid X to PC via USB cable, and transfer videos to Droid X under the DCIM > Camera folder.

Part II. Seamlessly Stream Droid X Videos/Movies to HDTV via DLNA.
The DLNA service could be used as a stand alone, or used in combination with HDMI. A home network (wired or wireless) or WiFi network shall be set up with your DLNA compatible TV and Droid X.

Step 1. Turn on Droid X and the TV, and select DLNA application on Droid X to start sharing media files. If you get the message to turn on Wi Fi connection, just click Yes and go to the settings menu to turn on Wi-Fi.

Step 2. From the DLNA screen, select "Share media", and select the media (Video, Music, Picture) you want to play in the "My shared media" screen. Then click OK.

Step 3. Wait for a few seconds for Connecting Motorola Droid X to TV based on DLNA, and a green DLNA logo will appear at the top of Droid X screen for Sharing movies and other media files to TV.

With the steps above, you can easily Connect and Watch Droid X video on TV through DLNA.
