Just install VLC player. That is a free media player, light and supports most formats, including the VOB files.

try to update your video codecs, or update your media player online.i think that should soved the problem, if you dont know how to have that update, just try to install new player in your pc, other than windows media player, then you can play it to your media player. :)

Windows XP does not come with the proper software to play DVDs. All major brands of pcs come with a piece of software called a DVD decoder. Once the DVD decoder is installed windows media player can play DVDs again. This software will be on your application recovery disks from your manufacturer. If you do not have these disks you can purchase them from the company who built your PC or you can purchase a DVD decoder software such as the ones found here. If you don't want to purchase one you can try a different program such as the VLC Media player to play your DVDs. VLC is a free download.

1) those DVDs are coded in Region 1(Canada, United States; U.S. territories; Bermuda)
you will have to change the region code on the dvd-rom to region 1

2) if you bought the stand alone DVD player in the U.S. it will play region 1 dvds and nothing else(some dvd players will play region code 1-6)

3) to change the code in windows vista you'll have to go under the drive property's in the device manager go to the dvd region tab and set it to what ever the number on the back of the dvd is WARNING you only get 4 changes before the drive locks you out permanently then your stuck with what ever number you put in on the 4th try you've been warned

I want to update my graphics drivers on Sony Vaio PCG-61813m. This model update is not available on Sony Support website. Any idea what should I do. Since I installed Windows 7 Ultimate my graphics is rubbish.

Sony VAIO don't need special drivers. These have special receivers that ONLY work with intended models. The receiver is connected via USB inside the computer and it has a button that says "Connect" you have to press it simultaneously on the computer and the mouse or keyboard in order to pair it. if you don't have the correct Sony VAIO computer you don't have that hardware that connects to the mouse and keyboard.
