My handcam touch screen is not working

What DVD's are you using +R/RW -R/RW some formats may not work especially on non-branded media some DVD players wont even play CD-R but will play some CD-RW of the correct brand.

I suggest that you try your finalized DVD in your PC then create an image using ImageBurn then burn the image onto a branded media and try again. Most firmware on DVD burners are very forgiving and will support a wider range of manufacturers and formats.

You have the wrong wire cord . I had the same issue . I went to best buy and they kept selling me the wrong cord , I went to Micro city and they had the right one . They knew what was wrong , The Lenex cord is not the same cord , the plugs are the same but the wiring code is different . Your computer and camcorder are fine , Just get the right cord

You cannot unfinalize discs. the lead in track and lclosing track are wrote. the disc is final.. Perhaps you can software to play or convert format into DVD format. Look at as4you.

try connecting the camcorder to a pc using the cable, sometimes a pc can fix the drive. or you will need to do a factory reset. press in the rest button next to the lcd screen for 3 seconds.

if there is a fabric tab under the batteries and out near the edge , pull that up and the batteries will come up and out

Record in AVI or MPG and then use windows explorer to drag file into computer.
