Singer model 7363 after power on all lights continue to flash and a short noise occurs just once and the machine is not operational

by a few different things. One possibility is that there is a problem with the power supply or a component that is preventing the machine from starting properly. Another possibility is that there may be an issue with the control board or one of the sensors on the machine that is causing the lights to flash and the machine to produce a noise. I would recommend checking the power supply and cord to make sure that they are properly connected and functioning. You should also check the user manual for troubleshooting steps or contact the manufacturer for further assistance. If the problem persist, it may be best to take the machine to a professional repair shop or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Singer 9960 bobbin winder won't disengage clutch while winding bobbin so needle moves up and down

The issue you are describing with your Singer 9960 bobbin winder could be caused by a few different things. One possibility is that the clutch is not properly engaging or disengaging. Another possibility is that the bobbin winder belt may be loose or damaged, causing the needle to move up and down and making noise while winding the bobbin. It is also possible that there may be a problem with the bobbin winder mechanism itself. I would recommend checking to make sure the clutch is engaging and disengaging properly, and check the bobbin winder belt and mechanism for any signs of damage or wear. If you continue to experience problems, it may be best to consult the manual or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Is it hard to replace all the gears on a touch and soul singer model 638

Replacing all the gears on a Touch and Sew Singer Model 638 sewing machine can be a difficult task and should be done by a qualified technician or a sewing machine repair professional. The process of replacing the gears involves taking apart the entire machine, which can be complex and time-consuming. The technician will need to have a working knowledge of the internal mechanics of the machine and access to the proper tools and replacement parts. The process also includes adjusting and aligning the gears after replacement, to ensure proper function of the machine. It's important to note that It could be easier and cheaper to service the machine instead of replacing all the gears, this will depend on the condition of the gears and the technician's assessment. It's recommended that you take your sewing machine to a professional sewing machine repair shop or a authorized Singer service center to have it checked and repaired if necessary.

Singer 99K: thread can't pass the bobbin case

Do not loosen the screw. The most likely issue is that you didn't get the bobbin case in exactly the right position. Remember you have to get the forked end straddling the bracket. Then twist the bobbin case slightly to the left and back as you push it down lightly. Keep doing this until the edge of the sewing hooks engages in the groove under the rim of the bobbin case. It can take practice to get the bobbin case properly aligned. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells (I have a slightly different Singer model. It still takes three tries to replace the bobbin case at times. It's hard to tell exactly how far to twist and push the unit even when I think it's aligned properly.)

I have a Singer model 4530. Can this go into a sewing machine cabinet?

Yes, the Singer 4530 should be able to fit into most standard-sized sewing machine cabinets. Make sure to measure the size of your cabinet to ensure the Singer machine and all its accessories will fit inside.

Singer Quantum CXL top thread breaks after only a few stitches

Check troubleshooting in manual. Manuals can be found online. Bobbin could be loaded in machine incorrectly. Check the way the thread comes off the spool, it might be catching on something causing it to snap.

Ok I know that youve checked this, but I have to ask.
Pg 39
Check and make sure the reverse lever isnt engaged.

I'm looking at pg 27 and see you have a traditional bobbin casing (not a drop in) make sure your bobbin is wound well and the case is inserted correctly. (they are picky)
Change your needle make sure its in right and tight. (I have bent many a needle just slightly, and it causes huge issues with this particular type of bobbin casing)
Pg 35 gives a test for the bobbin tension. If your thread rolls, the tension is too loose, OR the case may have gotten damaged.

Lets see if this helped.
Good luck

Im supper confused i just got a singer sewing machine model 5830c and im trying to figure out what is wrong. the bobbin wont thread and nothing is trying to catch it what do i do?

If the bobbin on your Singer sewing machine is not threading correctly, there may be a problem with the bobbin case or the bobbin tension. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and fix the issue:

Check the bobbin case: Make sure the bobbin case is correctly installed in the machine and seated properly. If it is not, the bobbin may not be able to thread correctly. Refer to the manual or a diagram of your machine to determine the correct position for the bobbin case.

Check the bobbin tension: The bobbin tension should be just right - not too loose or too tight. If the tension is incorrect, the bobbin may not thread correctly. To check the tension, remove the bobbin case and hold it with the opening facing up. Then, gently pull on the thread. It should offer some resistance, but the thread should still smoothly glide through the tension spring. If the tension is not correct, you can adjust it by turning the tension dial on the bobbin case.

Check the machine settings: Make sure the machine is set to the correct stitch type and thread tension. Refer to the manual or a diagram of your machine to determine the correct settings.

Clean and oil the machine: If the machine has not been used in a while or has not been properly maintained, it may need to be cleaned and oiled. Dirt and debris can accumulate in the machine and affect its performance. Use a brush to clean out any visible debris, and oil any points where the manual recommends.

What do i do if my needle is hitting my hook in my singer sewing machine model 5830c

If the needle on your Singer sewing machine model 5830c is hitting the hook and you have verified that it is the correct needle for the machine, there could be a few different issues causing the problem. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the needle height: Make sure the needle is properly positioned in the machine and is not set too high or too low. If the needle is set too high, it can hit the hook as it rotates. You can adjust the needle height by turning the handwheel towards you until the needle is in its highest position, and then turning the handwheel away from you until the needle is one or two notches above the highest point of the hook.
  2. Check the needle size: Make sure you are using the correct size needle for the fabric and thread you are using. If the needle is too small for the thread or fabric, it can cause the needle to hit the hook as it rotates.
  3. Check the bobbin case: If the bobbin case is not properly seated in the machine or is damaged, it can cause the needle to hit the hook as it rotates. Make sure the bobbin case is correctly installed and not damaged.
  4. Check the machine's timing: If the timing of the machine is off, it can cause the needle to hit the hook as it rotates. You can check the timing by removing the needle plate and observing the movement of the hook as the machine runs. If the hook is not moving in sync with the needle, it may be necessary to adjust the timing of the machine.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and the problem persists, it may be necessary to have the machine serviced by a professional. A technician will be able to diagnose the problem and determine the necessary repairs.

My singer 720 is not picking up the bobbin thread

Are you holding the needle thread as you turn the hand wheel? You need a bit of tension on the top thread to get the bobbin thread to tie onto it. It's safer and better to do this by hand, in my experience with a Touch 'N Sew Singer. Try threading the machine again with the presser foot fully up and the needle bar is in the highest position to avoid a tension problem. Double-check that the bobbin isn't over-filled or empty. Check that the needle point is undamaged. Try a brand new needle. If that isn't the problem, check that the bobbin case isn't damaged and that the bobbin case/feed dog area is clean. Similarly, make sure that the bobbin wind mechanism is undamaged. Check the bab (My Touch 'N Sew is an inherited machine. The bobbin wind mechanism broke and was replaced several times after the push-button failed to release when the slide plate was closed. Those were all before I got it. I've gotten in the habit of opening and closing the slide plate a few times to check the position.) For removing the bobbin case, see page 104 (page 110 of the PDF) of the manual. The current link to the manual is https://res.cloudinary.com/singer-sewing/image/upload/fl_attachment/Singer-Website-Library/outdated_product/SINGER_700_and_720_Sewing_Machine.pdf . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

My Singer touch tonic has suddenly stopped advancing the fabric It sees but the feed dogs Appel to be locked I have tried pushing the red reset button but didn't help

Which specific model Singer Touch Tronic do you have? The Touch Tronic 2001 has a special cover plate and foot for darning and embroidery that blocks the feed dogs. Could that be installed on your machine? Try changing the cover plate to the zig-zag or straight stitch one, depending on your stitch choice. The zig-zag cover plate is appropriate for most stitches. Four different cover plates are listed in the included accessories on page 3 (page 5 of the PDF) of the manual. Most Singer manuals are available here: https://www.singer.com/support . The Touch Tronic 2001 manual link is currently https://res.cloudinary.com/singer-sewing/image/upload/fl_attachment/Singer-Website-Library/outdated_product/5a0f6c95685a2d9c7d9a495892142df0f3a2707a_1.pdf . I hope this helps. Unfortunately, if the other cover plates are not with the machine's accessories, I've only found a source for the slide plate. None of the cover plates appear to be available. I am looking for details of how to control the sewing speed of a singer sewing machine model 201K - Register No.429906

the speed is controlled by the foot peddle unless you have the knee lever type. if you have the knee lever there is a handle stored in the bentwood top plug it in the hole on the front of the case and it controls the resister under the panel at the far right of the machine case. although these work i usually wire around them as i prefer a foot speed controller
