My siemens dishwasher wash cycle keeps going. It should be done after 2 hours but the timer count either stops working or moves much slower than the allotted time. Ideas how to fix it?

You cannot fix it since you may not have the knowledge to do so. Maybe all that is needed is a new timer, but only a trained tech can determine that.

How do I unblock my dishwasher - mistakenly washed a tealight holder with the candle still in it !!!

The wax probably melted into a liquid state which ran out with the water, but unlike water, when it started to return to a room temperature state, started to solidify and coated a number of internal areas within the washer. If you could run extremely hot water through your washer it could wash it out, but since it does not turn on, you will need a professional to come in and do an analysis on the situation. It might be similar to someone putting sugar in a car's gas tank; once it melts and mixes with the gas and is distributed throughout the internal engine, serious problems will occur.

I use siemens dishwasherand recently noticed some grit like substance left on my dishes etc after every wash

There should be a screen under the spray bar. Make sure that is clean. So "grit" is not recirculated in the wash cycle. Is "grit" showing up in your house water elsewhere? Check with clear water glass. Also consider testing with a competitive wash compound to see if there is any difference. A sample or from your friends.

Dishwasher has no lights even after checking the outlet for power, the unit does not light up. is there an internal fuse?

Probably not. Most likely the plug, or cord is bad. Have you had a power surge? If so, no telling what happened.

The drying cycle on my dishwasher is no longer working.

The dryer uses the coil in the bottom of the tub to heat up the air in the tub and speed drying time. The coil is like the same item that is used in a stove. The issue could be that coil is burned out. The easiest way to check that is to get a meter that measures ohms. Take the dishwasher out of the counter installation and make sure it is drained. Lay it on its side and look for the connections on the bottom that have wires going to the coil. Test the resistance on the coil using the meter.

Fridge freezer gurgle noise problem. Freezer window flashes replace filter . New filter installed. Noise continues emanating from freezer. Help please

The problem is AIR In The Line. Either you have a leak in the water line or the filter was not tight. In some cases, people screw the filter in wrong, and cross-tread when screwing the filter back into the fridge. If the filter gasket failed to make a tight seal, air can enter and cause a noise. If the water l;ine has a small pin hole, when water is flowing within the tube, it too can make a noise. That can happen when drawing water down for drinking or when the ICE Maker is reloading the tray.

My Siemens dishwasher quit halfway through the cycle. It will not power up at all - all lights are off. It's as if the breaker was tripped (but it wasn't). Is the thing fried? Doesn&am

Take off the toe guard plate at the bottom under the door. There may be a fuse holder in the metal box that the power cord connects to.

Siemens lady 130 dishwasher overfilling at start of wash cycle

There is a float at the bottom of the washer. See if it is stuck. It should move up and down freely. This activates the water shutoff when it reaches the proper level. If it is sticking it could allow the washer to overfill . If that is not the problem then I would look at the valve it activates itself.

Hello; My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician. It sounds like you had a bad thermostat and then blew the thermal fuse. These parts are in the back of your washer, The thermal fuse is on you hot air duct and your thermal fuse is on the opposite side. Looking from the back is the power connection on left or right ?

Where is your handbook? The power cord connection is usually obvious as a heavy connector block behind an access panel. If you aren't familiar with domestic electrics get someone who is.

Siemens dishwasher- start button is flashing but will not start. some water in bottom of dishwasher.

Did you try turning off the circuit breaker to it, waiting about 15 minutes and turning it back on? If that doesn't do it, I would start by checking your drain pump.
