I was watching when I listen a " CHASSST" and then no more power, on image, all is in dark
Most likely the power supply board needs to be replaced.
If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T OPEN THE TV UP TO FIX IT, THERE ARE HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD, EVEN WEEKS AFTER THE TV IS UNPLUGGED!
If you don't know how to do it yourself, find some local Electronic repair shops, get quotes, try to find reviews on the shops.

Remote does not work
If you have replaced the batteries and not have put them in backwards, look at the remote thru your cell phone camera. Press any button on the remote. If it is working at all you'll see the led flashing . If you see this and it's working, then the infra red receiver in the TV isn't working.
Not powering on
You need 12 volts too. You need all the voltages produced by the power supply. The main board supplies the on/off function signal to the power supply. Your main board may be bad
WILL A LCD CONTROLLER NOT FIRE THE BACKLIGHT
The LCD controller or T-con board does not control the back light. Some back light ballasts are incorporated into the power supply or the main board. Others are on their own board

How do i turn on closed caption
Unless the program you are watching is formatted for closed captioning it won't display. Not every program has CC built in.
Pop the cover off my tv
On the back cover there arrows pointing to screw holes. Tale all those screws out and the back will come off.
How do I get to the tv input source
Select menu and choose the input you want or use the remote and push the input button to select whatever input you have connected to the TV.
