My LC46D64U just started doung the same thing for any over the air channel that starts with 6. It cuts out for a few seconds about every 60 seconds. Has anyone found a solution for this?

You have a failed circuit board. As to which one that is the question.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

hmmm does seem like the backlight inverter is bad there but if ya hold up a light to the screen and your seeing colors and movement then it was the backlight thats gone bad but if ya see nothing after shining a light at an angle at the screen then the picture board has gone bad with it
