Our Sharp mx-3501n copier
Your copier is not accepting your black toner cartridge (F2-71 Cyan, F2-72 Magenta, F2-73 Yellow). It either is not inserted properly, the packing tab is not removed from the back, or a faulty cartridge. Often 3rd party cartridges that the manunfacturer "guarantees" will work will bring this code. In short, the copier is rejecting your black toner cartridge and you should replace it.
Display problem
Hi, I had a similar problem and fixed it. Open the calculator and you will see that the ribbon connecting the LCD to the PCB has white and black stripes. The black stripes are the actual conductors. The white pieces are isolation between the conductors and serve the purpose of glueing the ribbon to the PCB.
Take a small flate screwdriver, its thickness has to be that of the white stripes. Heat up the end of the screwdriver with a hot air gun/lighter/hair blowdryer or whatever. Dont make it too hot. It should only be hot enough to melt the glue holding the ribbon to the PCB. Press the screwdriver on a white stripe and move the screwdriver up and down the white line which is on the PCB. Do this for each white stripe individually. Reheat the screwdirver if necessary, since there are a lot of tracks/stripes to cover.
It may be useful to use two screwdrivers: one to heat the glue of a white section and a second to cool/set the glue so that the ribbon is held in place, instead of coming loose because the glue is too hot. I did it only with one mildly hot screwdriver. It shouldn't be so hot that it actually burns you. You can test the temperature by pressing it against a hot melt glue stick (those used in a glue gun), if it melts the glue (but not too quick) it is hot enough.
It is unlikely that the ribbon came loose from the LCD, but if the previous didn't work you can try doing it on the LCD aswell.
Good luck!
Sharp XV-Z30000 projector won't turn on.
Probably the lamp light is flashing because either the lamp has failed or there is a fan issue.
We spell some words from the French way; Metre (measurement of length) but colour will always be colour.
The thirteenth element in the periodic table is not spelled aluminum, it is Al or Aluminium!
That's got me started now!!!
I want Flash code for Sharp Al 1216 photocopier
Purportedly, H4 refers to heat lamp problems, either broken heat lamp or dirty thermostat on the heater roller assembly. It may be referred to as the fuser temperature error.
It may also be a false reading and just need clearing.
If it is simply toner caked on the temperature sensor, such has to be scraped off. If a false reading, you can try to clear it with the following. Press P-interrupt-C-interrupt and enter test command 14 and Execute to clear your error. Or try Press this sequence: CLR-Exposure-CLR-Exposure; The display will go blank; enter "14", press "PRNT"; Press "CLR" several times to exit.
Also, you can try turning off the machine for 30 seconds and then turning it back on to see if it clears the problem.
If none of this works, it may be a bad thermistor (a resistor) on the temperature sensor.
