H is a heater problem H4 is more specific, not sure but it could be the lamp, thermistor or triac. It will be one of these or even a bad connector on the heater section

check your paper size for your original or the cassette paper size they can both cause the scanner to only scan part way. it thinks the paper size is different than what you are using.

The primary transfer is not on the drum it is located across from the drum as the paper goes between the drum and the primary transfer assy. and or roller (sponge looking roller), then reinstall the transfer assy..
