Replace battery. It has a life. If you failed to remove charger when fully charged, you have shortened the battery life. Battery is available on line from several vendors that will much cheaper than a sears battery.

Usually because it has been sitting since last March and you left the carburettor full of gas instead of draining it down. Take the carburetor off and clean it inside.

Dirty Carburetor, blocked jets, stuck float bowl.

ignition switch may be bad or a broken or loose wire at the switch. test and replace if needed. be sure when in the start pos. you have 12 volts at the solenoid.
