There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). Do you have an outside antenna? If so start scanning for individual channels at 000. Move 5 degrees scan for individual channels again. Move 5 degrees more. You must scan for individual channels. A wide range scan will erase everything else.
Go to Menu. Hit 7343 then mute. This should take you to a menu with a single scan option. It will take a very long time to complete this. Once you have scanned in every direction, be sure to NEVER hit the wide scan.

The first 50% of the scan is digital. The second 50% is analog. Unfortunately, you can't turn of the analog scanning or ask for only digital. If you are using an antenna be sure that it is aimed in the location that will provide the most channels. If you are using an antenna, you may be able to scan for channels individually. You will have to turn the antenna 5degrees at a time and then scan for individual channels. If you do a wide range scan, all channels previously found will be erased.

Take a look at this
  • Region 1: U.S., U.S. Territories, Canada, and Bermuda.
  • Region 2: Japan, Europe, South Africa, and the Middle East, including Egypt.
  • Region 3: Southeast Asia, East Asia, including Hong Kong.
  • Region 4: Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.
there are limitations to how many times you can change a region so your change might be for good but anything is possible so read this

That unit uses a standard connection for the country you are in. You just screw it or press it on. The user manual is here: http://www.sceptre.com/pub/Manuals/LEDHDTV/X322BV-SR-User%20Manual.pdf

If you select "source" on your remote then enter 7343 it will bring up a factory menu. Go down to 'Other setting' , the setting 'scaler output' should be set to "Normal". This setting flips the display.

HDMI Connection
  1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the laptop VGA port.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to one of the HDMI connections on the rear of the TV.
  3. Connect a separate audio cable between the headphone or speaker output on the laptop and the audio in connector on the TV.
