If the TV has no picture or sound, but the led turns from red to blue or green that means the mainboard has sent the power supply board the start up signal. The first thing that needs to be done is the voltages need to be checked to the power board. Follow the steps. 1. Hold the (menu) and (vol-) buttons on the side of the TV. 2. While holding the (menu) and (vol-) button on the side of the TV you also need to press the (power) button on the side of the TV (NOT REMOTE). 3. When the blue light comes on and stays on wait 10 seconds then let go of the (menu) and (vol-) button. 4. Wait 30 more seconds. After waiting another 30 seconds you should see some type of picture appear on your screen. — If those steps do not work then you need to unplug your TV for 10 minutes then hold the (power) button on the side of your TV for 60 seconds - plug in and turn your TV on.
If those steps do not fix your problem I would check to see if your device is still covered under a warranty. If not I recommend www.tvrepairpros.com they will find a technician in your area to further assist you.

1. Check if the picture settings are set properly. Make sure the aspect ratio and resolution are correct for your TV.
2. Check your TV's display menu for any "Flip" or "Mirror" options and turn them off.
3. Check the connections from your TV to your cable box or HDMI device. Try unplugging them and plugging them back in to make sure they are secure.

To connect a VCR/DVD player to a Sansui flat screen TV, you will need to use the appropriate cables and connections. Here are the general steps you can follow:
Check your TV and VCR/DVD player for the available ports. The TV should have RCA composite video and audio inputs, and the VCR/DVD player should have RCA composite video and audio outputs, or HDMI port.
Using the appropriate cables, connect the RCA composite video and audio outputs from the VCR/DVD player to the corresponding RCA composite video and audio inputs on the TV. If your VCR/DVD player has HDMI port, use HDMI cable to connect the TV and the VCR/DVD player.
Turn on your TV and VCR/DVD player.
On your TV, press the "Input" or "Source" button to switch to the input where the RCA composite video and audio cables are connected or HDMI.
Using the remote of your TV, go to the menu and select the input where the VCR/DVD is connected.
If you don't see any picture, try adjusting the settings on your TV and VCR/DVD player.
Once you are able to see the picture on your TV, you should be able to use your VCR/DVD player as you normally would.
Re-check all of your wires between the TV and the system are fitted correctly at both ends. I usually concentrate on the TV first where I remove ONE connector and wipe it with a DRY lint free cloth and refit it, making sure it is pushed fully in. Then do the same to the next connector, (remove, clean and refit), and so on until they are all done.
Then I move to the back of the TV and use the same method. Also do this to any DVD players and anything else you've got plugged into the theatre system.
Once you have done this recheck all the settings on the Theartre system AND the TV as sometimes settings can get changed accidentally when changing other settings.
