I have the same washer..same problem..pump tested ok on the bench when connected to power. All lines r free from any obstruction. Any clues r much appreciated.

If it really is hooked up to cold water under sink, just turn off the supply valve, disconnect the line and cap it off (hardware stores have brass cap off caps for hose lines) and done. PS: most ice makers/water dispensers have a water valve inside the fridge that are similar to washing machines and they fail because debris gets in them. I use an inline filter to prevent this.

Replace the start/pause button, if practical.

Contact the company. That is a recall type issue. No appliance should turn on, on its own!

Could be an erratic control board. A machine reset jolts it back into normal operation. A defective cycle timer is another possibility.

It means that your washer is having draining issue. Make sure the drain hose is positioned correctly, depending on the connection type. You can remove the water hose from back of your washer and clean the debris filter of any blockage.

So it runs a full cycle normally, but no movement? It can only be two or three things. Broken wires. Motor has failed. Timer has failed. If it chimed as it went through the program and doesn't now, this would be the most likely. You can check the output to the motor with a meter.

The cycle timer may not be controlling pump operation.
