Your best option is to get a technician to look at it and quote for a repair. A squeaky drum could be anything from the dryer not positioned level, a worn drive belt slipping, a worn out drum bearing or worn motor.
According to a post on applianceblog.com, this issue could be caused by a blocked vent or vent hose, which can trigger the HE error. You can start by checking if the vent and vent hose are not blocked. If that's not the issue, you can try measuring the voltage across RY5, RY6, and RY7 on the main power board during a normal dry cycle. If there is no voltage, you may need to replace the control panel .

Since you had a garment get caught in the door, check the hinges and the door latch and striker. Something could be damaged, bent, loose or deformed. You may be able straighten the part or replace the specific part to get the door to close properly. A problem with the door switch or the wiring is also possible. However, I wouldn't check that the switch is not providing the locked signal to the control board until the door closes with the correct alignment of the latch. If you do need to check the wiring, see https://fleetappliance.com/dryer-repair/how-to-fix-samsung-dryer-error-code-de/ for accessing the lock mechanism.
I hope this helps. For further information, including a check for a parts list, please add a comment with the model number of your dryer.

A newer element will only cause it to run too hot if it was a hotter element (more kilowatts) than the old one. Over heating problems are usually caused by poor air flow. If you got as far as the element you must have cleaned all the INTERNAL ductwork and the fan itself? EXTERNALLY, the exhaust hose should be as short as possible and without bends. Also check the duct through the wall, and check that the louvres on the outside are opening fully when the dryer is running. Birds love to make nests in there unless you have a cage on the outer vent.
If it is 7 years old, it might just be time to invest in a new one. Having said that, my Whirlpool is 15 years old.
..
It's most likely the thermistor...

But before you start throwing parts at it give them a call @ their 800#. Their Techs and install videos with the parts are helpful.
I'm NOT affiliated in any way with them. Just have used them in repairing our appliances and they've been helpful.
Best to you.
Question edited for clarity. The code is 'Nd', or 'dn'? Neither seem to existhttps://applianceexpresstx.com/dryer-repair/samsung-dryer-error-codes-explained/'D' codesError codes: dC, dE, dF, do, d0, 1 DC, and 1 dFThese error codes indicate a problem with the door, most commonly the door latch or the sensors. When these codes appear, it generally means you need to check your door to see if it closes properly.More herehttps://www.thespruce.com/troubleshooting-samsung-dryer-error-codes-2147296https://www.google.com/search?q=Samsung+Laundry+Dryer+code+dn%2C+code+nd..
Diane,
Fisrt try this fixes a few of these issues....
Unplug it (or turn off power at the circuit breaker), wait some time for the electrical charge to clear out of the dryer (usually 1 to 5 minutes at most), and then power it up again.

That is probably a TE (tE) error. That indicates a fault, usually a short, with the thermistor (temperature sensor). First check for a blockage in the dryer venting and lint filter. Next make sure that the vent hose is correctly connected to the exhaust of the dryer and the outlet. Check that the wires between the thermistor and the control board are undamaged.
If those are fine, the thermistor needs to be replaced.
I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the dryer model if you need help finding the parts list/diagram.

Question edited for spelling 'Lent' to 'Lint'.
The auto dry feature uses a humidistat to sense the amount of moisture in the air as it is exiting the dryer.
The thermistor / thermostat is a heat sensing device and that is the one to change first. If inaccurate it cuts the heat off to soon resulting in a warm heat drying cycle instead of HOT.
There are two other devices, a thermal fuse which will cut power when the dryer over heats and it doesn't sound like yours is. Finally there is a Thermal Cut Out, and when it overheats so badly the fuse breaks and has to be renewed.
The other thing to check is the the vent outside is clear of lint and that the flap or grille vents are opening fully when the dryer is running..
Good videos, and the second video shows testing components.
Nothing you can do. The dryer is not suitable for the power source in your country. The AC cycles are not fast enough. Ask Samsung direct. They may be able to sell you a suitable motor.
https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01207445/Frequency errors (FC, FE, 1 FC)
These codes mean that there is an invalid power source frequency. To fix this, try restarting the cycle.
If the error code remains, visit the Support Center to request service.
Sounds like the inside part that holds the threaded screws fell off as you were unscrewing them. You may have to remove panel to attach door or you could try a larger screw that taps into the existing hole but that will not hold as well and could come loose. Sorry I don't know how to remove panel.
You need to shut the breaker off that powers the driver. Then you need to pull the dryer out from the wall and look at the back of it. There is a plate or cover over the area that the power cord connects to. Remove that cover panel and check the wiring connections. It appears from your description that the ground lug on the cord is bad/loose disconnected. Even if it is the heating coil you should not get shocked when you touch it.
