there is none check the unit for broken lead wire , or burnt motor . They have a problem where the blower fan runs on the housing and melts or welds together , stopping tye motor from running

check the motor for a thermal over load button to stop it over heating take more lighter cuts as the motor is a small motor compared to what the cut can be

If yo the brush isn't spinning try replacing the belt. If it won't turn on it may mp be the cord or switch

Actually, this is normal. You have to wait for the test to complete, and then it will charge your battery.

Contact Ryobi's customer Service contact directly off the Ryobi homepage and speak to them about the problems your having..and do it quickly, as rumor has it that Ryobi is getting out of the electric yard and tools machine business.

Sounds like a bad switch. Possibly a loose wire.

You're going to have to replace the broken lever AND switch.

If you have your receipt, check with Ryobi to see if it is still under warranty. It comes with either a 2 or 3 year warranty, depending on when it was purchased. If it is still covered, get it replaced/repaired. If it is not, buy the P117 charger. $30 at Home Depot. It has a 90 day satisfaction guarantee. If it charges your batteries properly, you're good. If not, bring it back if you don't like/want it. My P113 won't get out of test mode now, or charge Lithium batteries anymore. So I bought the P117 yesterday. Works great, and it's a lot cheaper than new batteries! And it has a 3 year warranty.
