Ryobi 18v drill stuck chuck
easy to fix
with the drill not running
grab the bottom part of the spinning part of the drill nearest the drill's motor.
then
grab the spinning shaft bit nearest the drill bit
pull them apart slightly
when the two parts are pushed together thay lock the chuck
I own a ryobi hammer drill that does the same thing

Is there a recall for ryobi 18v charger or
I had similar problems with my 18V Ryobi batteries. Called Ryobi customer service, gave them the serial numbers and was told there was a 2 year warranty on them, in my case the warranty was in effect until July 2012. Took the batteries to Home Depot today and they replaced my batteries with two brand new ones. I can't complain about Ryobi customer service
