My Ryobi one plus charger is blinking both red and green lights even when there is not a battery in it being charged. Is this easily fixable or a case of having to buy a new one? Thank you.

I read online that someone fixed this problem by rotating the plug in the wall. Another person said that the terminals in the charger were a bit corroded and possibly bent so they caused the lights to flash.

I have two ryobi 40v batteries. One is brand new and they other is about two years old. The old one got the red green on the charger so I got a new battery. Got the same red green with the new battery. Then I bought a new charger and got the same issues. Batteries are at room temp. Please help as my lawn is getting out of hand

Completely dead batteries may cause the charger to not see any load and it wont charge them. The way around this is to put the battery on the charger with the charger unplugged. Then plug in the charger and check the lights. Keep unplugging and plugging in the charger till it catches up and stays on.

Ryobi blower flashing green red when charging Won't charge

I have run RYOBI printing presses for the last 30 years and I bought a RYOBI rechargeable drill and rechargeable garden tool. I am disgusted by how cheap they were and how the batteries just gave up. I have heard about bumping a battery by running a good battery thru it. It was suppose recondition the battery, however I got two ruined battery for that.
